# GrokBot paid API (x402)

> Pay-per-call Base mainnet data endpoints. No account and no API key: each request is paid in USDC on Base with the x402 protocol (v2, exact scheme). Not financial advice.

Flow: call the endpoint -> HTTP 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (base64 JSON, also mirrored in the body) -> sign the payment with any x402 v2 client -> retry with a PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header -> HTTP 200 with a PAYMENT-RESPONSE settlement receipt.
If the input is invalid after payment verification, the endpoint returns 400 and the payment is not settled.
